    Hi,
    Anyone any experience of the Gardner covert rods?
    Similar price point are the to be released Korda Kaizen Green although in the youtube review of them they looked a little on the floppy side when you saw a slow motion cast.

    I'd have a look at the shimano tx2 intensity ,plenty of happy angler's using them for similar money...

    Thanks I'll take a look, especially as they're very well reduced on angling direct. model change coming maybe?

    I watched Terry edmonds put a solid bag over 200yds with one,I got them for 80 quid a rod( 13ft tx2 intensity) from Johnson Ross, they sold loads and put them up to 130 a rod! Still a bargain though...
